IMAP Server

Somehow, when configuring my Verizon email account to Frontier, Frontier came up as an "IMAP Server". Written on the very top of the page under server type. I went into "hidden files" and .thunderbird and found the IMAP folder and deleted the "frontier" entries in the IMAP folder. No luck. It still says that frontier is an IMAP server and my e-mail doesn't work. Where am I going wrong? I need to change frontier from IMAP but can't figure out where to look now.

Which ver. of T'bird?

WTF is "Frontier"? As much as you know, a link might be helpful.

While I use web interfaces -- Horde IMP, SquirrelMail, etc. -- almost exclusively, I think you must reconfigure your Verizon/Frontier acct. inside Thunderbird from IMAP to POP. Edit -> Preferences in the old days.
