imap


I have postfix currently running. I want to switch to imap. I have heard its much better. Plus i want to make a web-based php mail client script. (or just use one that is already written.) Does anyone have any resources i can use? Like howto's and tutorials??????? thanks!!!

postdix and imap do different things, and would generally be run in parrallel. postfix recieves emails it is given and puts them in to /var/spool/mail/user files and such, whilst imap will take the mail from that place to whereever
