ifconfig "command not found"...?
Ok guys, go easy on me! :)
I am a complete Linux newbie here and just installed Red Hat 7.0 to mess around with on an extra machine. I initially set the ethernet adaptor to set up using DHCP, well, the eth0 failed on startup so I'm trying to set it up using a static IP. I'm trying to run ifconfig from the command line (logged in as root) but I keep getting a "command not found" when I do that. I can ping the localhost and I can see the eth0 module under /sbin/lsmod. Any suggestions? |
I found it!!! Woo-Hoo!
Now all I need to do is get the PPPoE going.... :) |
