Smile I want to host Websites

I have a pretty decent upload speed at work. I want to host a couple of friends web sites.
I have a linux 7.3 box. Apache is installed DNS, FTP.
If i were to point these registerd domains to my box, which DNS entires could i use since my linux box is now a dns server.
<example DNS1.my domain.com> this is where iam lost.
Thanks!

In most cases you need 2 DNS servers. So one will be your machine (give its IP) and you need to find another one.

You didn't say if you have a static ip or not, if you do you can sign up for dns from dns2go.com, they don't have a client side for linux I don't think but you can log in at there website and set the static ip you want a domain to point to, there service is FREE too, I am running 2 sites with it right now, http://www.marcusandmeagan.com and http://lakewoodlighthouse.org these site are sitting on a server in my girlfriends basebent running off a dsl line. I hope that helps you some.
