I think my aironet is busted what now?

I am running libranet on an oldish ibm ibook and need to know what wireless lan adapter I should get to replace my cisco aironet. Th eaironet is either broken or will noy work with this computer. Recommend a good replacement: good range, ease of set-up, and price. I really need to get my wireless network going again. Work is hard without it. Thanks

Features?

For what will you use this card? Do you need it to use it with wireless network sniffers?

What 802.11 flavor does your access point use?

How much are you looking to spend?

How important is a warranty and reputible service?

There are LOTS of cards out there, help us narrow it down a bit.

Thanks for the reply. the flavor is b (or g). Warranty is sort of important. $50 or under. yes I need it for wireless. I have a linksys access point. It might be nice to use it with a "sniffer" but it is not mandatory. My computer is going to stay home or just go to work with me. I will be within 500 ft of access point times (mostly) unless I go outside on the porch.
