I have a question about pure-ftp

Ok, I've installed pure-ftp and configured it to allow anonymous login. And It works, I tested it and I can log in. And when I run service pure-ftp status it shows that I'm logged in. So everything is good on that end. But when I'm logged on...I forgot something.... There is nothing to "get".

So here is my probem. Where is the directory that holds the files that are to be shared? I looked in the pure-ftpd.conf file and I saw no indication of where this directory is.

So here is my question. Where do I put a file, in order to share it with pure-ftp .

Any help would be great. Thanks guys!!!

I forget myself but here is what I did.
Go on any machine.
Create a text file with an easy to remember name.
Upload that file to the ftp site.
On the ftp site update locate database (upatedb as root)
and then do a locate for that text file an you should have the directory.

Kinda odd but I cant remember the directory.
/var/ftp I think...
