I can see Winxp folders but I can't see any files...
Ok I'm running knoppix 3.3 hd installed. I got Samba set up between my linux machine and my WinXP home machine... the shares seem right... I can see the Linux machine in windows just fine.... the problem is LinNeighborhood sees the shared folders on the XP box but when I open the folders they are empty.... Am I missing something obvious in windows permission or something.... TIA...
Hmm... personally, I've never had much luck with LinNeighborhood. I always preferred to open a browser window (Konqueror, usually), and type smb://host.address/ in the address bar.
But then, I'm impatient.
