I Can't start apache

I tried looking around in the forums and nothing seems similar.
My problems is that i don't know how to stat the apache server. I think its installed when i type

[mike@localhost mike]$ rpm -qa | grep httpd
system-config-httpd-1.2.0-3
httpd-2.0.51-2.7

i get that so it looks like its installed but i cant start using any commands i tried some

[root@localhost mike]# service httpd start
bash: service: command not found
[root@localhost mike]# httpd
bash: httpd: command not found

any help would help greatly thanks
