No problem here though.
Whatis the error?
Can you open other https sites?
Any proxy?
Try with another browser.

Kind regard

Hi, do you connect via a proxy server to the internet?
If yes, then check your browsers settings: all protocols have to use the proxy!

https site not opening

Yes i am connecting the internet through proxy
and the error is giving only connection refused, i had checked woth mozilla and internet explorer also but the error is same.In internet explore and mozilla i had given settings to use proxy for all protocols but still it is not working.

I think the https port is blocked in my linux proxy server and as i had very little knowledge of iptables i don't know how to open the port of https.

Thanks & Regards

Can you reach the site if you bypass the proxy?
Do you have the same problem with other https sites?
What happens if you disable the firewall?

Kind regards

I think https needs port 443 or something open also.

As above your browser and or OS settings need to translate for the correct proxy settings.
