You should just have to run minicom, and configure it to use the appropriate serial port/speed/etc. Run minicom, and follow the on-screen instructions (like "ctrl-A Z" for setup. Since you don't say anything about your hardware (USB to serial device? Which serial port, if not?), it'll either be something like /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyS0, etc....speed depends on what you're talking to. |
/dev/ttyM1 -moxa driver

Moxa support can help you
Hi,
I guess you are using Moxa 2 Ports Card, right? Are you using the kernel built-in version Moxa driver? My suggestion is to try the latest driver. You can get it from Moxa web site. http://www.moxa.com/support/download.aspx?d_id=1662 In the latest driver, it also includes some good utilities such as msdiag and msterm to help you figure out the problem. Anyway, if you still need help please contact Moxa support team. They can give you great support. But again, please provide: Model Name (CP-102U, CP-132EL.., get it from PCB) Driver Version (Ver 1.16 or ..., get it from system log) Distribution (RedHat ES 4 or ...) Are you using real time patch? What is you minicom setting? Good luck. Casper |
