how to utilize 2 connections at once?

Hello,

In my school, there is a cable connection and a wireless connection. Is it possible that I use the cable and the wireless to run a segmented download on both connections? Like half goes to wireless and the other half goes to the cable? Or if not the segmented download, then at least I surf the Internet with one and download on the other?

Basically is it possible to use both connections simultaneously?

thanks,

Hi,

Although I never tried this with both a wireless and a wired connection, you might want to have a look at network bonding

Feed your search-engine with linux network bonding or ubuntu network bonding to get a lot of hits.

Hope this helps.
