how to unregister tty driver


hello,

I am writting a tty serial driver,but when i insert the module by insmod,it gives this error:

insmod: error inserting 'asd.ko': -1 Device or resource busy
asd is my file name.

this error comes while regitering driver by:
tty_register_driver();

please tell me how to insert this driver.

also how to remove the serial driver which is already loaded.

Check your kernel configuration and see if the tty serial driver is built into the kernel, or as a module. If it's integrated into the kernel, then set it to be compiled as a module and rebuild. Now you can use lsmod to see which modules are loaded, and rmmod to remove the existing tty serial driver once you find it.
