i want to start a dial-up network connection on Open Suse 10.2

i had made an attempt but was unsuccessfull

my system information is :
hp pavillion dv2117tx (a laptop)
HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP (my inbuilt modem)

please tell me the entire procedure to do so........... write frm the scratch.....

Well, you will need to use kppp or kinternet top start a dial-up internet connection. You decide which one to use, but kppp is better.
I need to ask you if you searched for these kind of threads? There are some, and I think you will find an answer there, I know, because once I did answer such a question, but I don't remember when. Before adding a new thread, please always search the forums, because it is possible that your question was asked once, and was answered too. For kppp, read the manual (khelpcenter), every needed info will be there.
