How to SSH form Ubuntu 10.04 to Apple?
 

I'm trying to connect to my Apple computer using SSL/SSH VNC Viewer, but don't know what to put in the VNC Host:Display space and VNC Password or the Proxy/Gateway spaces. Where can I get all this info from?

vnc is nothing whatsoever to do with ssh... what setup do you actually have...? Do you know?? if you don't know what to put in there that just shouts that you've not configured it at all on your mac in the first place.

I tied to configure it on my Mac, but don't know how to do it. It was asking me about some server, so i put the ip adress of my ubuntu machine but it failed to connect. Tried the same thing in ubuntu with the Mac ip and no cigar.

I just had to configure mac to accept remote connections.
