are all of the machines running linux, or is there a mix of linux and windows? i ask because if you have a mix, you'll need to setup and configure samba, if not, you could use nfs, or samba. you can find some info here

http://us1.samba.org/samba/

http://nfs.sourceforge.net/

good luck.

you'll be needing samba to share w/windows machines the link is above. have you already installed samba? i prefer to manually write my smb.conf , but you may may want to look into swat or webmin for samba configuration. just trying to give you some options. you can readup on swat here

http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/swat.8.html

and webmin here

http://www.webmin.com/

good luck.

I agree with PEACEDOG,
Do some reading and try writing your own smb.conf file.
When I first got into linux samba really kickked my but, then I did a drop back and punt approach.
I wrote my on config file and kept it simple. Then you can back that up once you have the basic services running and mess around with changing the config to best suit you needs.

Good Luck
