Could anybody describe to me how I can set up failover on DHCP server which using LInux 3.0?
I got 2 server that running Linux 3.0 and want to set up failover for this server.
Thanks
Linux 3.0? What is that? The kernel only goes as high as 2.6. What distribution are you using? Most likely debian 3.0, from the number. What exactly are you looking for in terms of failover? In theory, you could have two dhcp servers on the same subnet, and if configured EXACTLY identically, it should work fine. (I haven't tested it, but I know of no reason for it not to work).
