how to set up a print server on a all Linux LAN

As my home LAN grows and I become more dependent on my NFS server, I have realized the benefits of having a server. Thus I want to expand its capabilities up to also running as a print server. I am wondering if all I need is CUPS because all of the computers are Linux boxes. Once the server is setup how much work is required on the client machines?

I tried it, but the command wasn't found. I'm using Slackware 9.1. Is it a Red Hat specific program or part of CUPS?

I set mine up with CUPS without a problem. You have to edit /etc/cups.conf on the server (that may be /etc/cupsd.conf-I'm not a home now) and start CUPS on the client machine.

Good Luck
Alan
