how to open the shared folder of linux in win xp ?
 

i have shared folders in linux server and created smb user and password as well. i can able to login with the username and password, but i cannot able to open the shared folder of the linux machine.

What are the steps i have configure to be able to open the shared folders of the linux server?

Hi linuxmubarak i would check the share definition in the smb.conf file and set the option "browseable=yes"

Can you check it with the option
"security = share "
And be aware of the directory you shared in Samba has the permission
"755"
