how to open rpm files on windows
 
hey there,

does anyone know how to extract rpm files into linux from windows?

Into Linux from Windows? What do you mean? If you have Linux, use Linux to install the rpms. If you have Windows, then it won't run rpms. Could you clarify what you actually want to do?

see i can't get online with my linux now coz the os can't detect my onboard lan card..... it's from nvidia, k7n2 ... so i need to dl the rpm files from the site on my windows xp.... so how can i bring it into linux ? coz the file system is diff... i don't know how to transfer the files over or access the file from linux...

You can mount a FAT32 drive from Linux. You can also mount NTFS drives for reading, but I wouldn't recommend it. Do "man mount" or have a google to find out more
