how to mount ntfs partition in rhel4


i hav /dev/hda1 as one of my ntfs partition used by windows 2003 server i want to mount this partion in rhel4


i hav already used this :


1)vi /etc/fstab
2) /dev/hda1 /mnt/win_mount ntfs defaults 0 0

3) mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/win_mount


its not working


why is this nt working and hw can i get rid of this problem?

In RHEL v4 , or any other RH distro , you need the ntfs driver for mounting ..

Get the rpm corresponding to your kernel version and enjoy!!
