Don't post the same question twice, just two minutes apart, please. And
Step one in "how to learn", is to ask a good question. Step two is "ask the right people your question".

Routers are typically hardware devices...some MAY use a Linux kernel, but that doesn't mean they're running 'real' linux. Your question would be better off in a forum, dedicated to whatever router device you're running.

We could tell you how to configure a specific router, but that would leave you unable to configure any other router unless you correctly understand the what it is that the router is trying to achieve. To gain this understanding you need to understand the underlying principles and technologies involved. This requires study and google is your friend. Search for TCPIP introduction, or networking fundamentals or similar. There is a vast quantity of information out there and you need to start reading it.
