how to get public ip address

HI,
i use RHEL 4 WS. I Have a ADSL connection and a router is used everytime to connect through that.
Now every time my router connects to the internet it is assigned a new ip address.
What i wanna do is know my current ip address assigned to my router by my ISP.
I can easily get it when i open my router in the browser window but i wanna do this from some utility present on my local system.

Regards

Why do you want to do this? If you're looking to host a web, look up dynamic dns. In fact, dynamic dns may be what you're looking for anyway...
