how to disabled ping in the network
 
Hello

Is there a way to disable ping in the network instead ping of IP addresses must be hostname or a name.

If you must use numeric IP to ping a host, it means your IP stack is unable to resolve the name. There should be at least one valid nameserver listed in /etc/resolve.conf. Normally, for local LANs, you would name local hosts in /etc/hosts.
