How to diagnose VPN connection failure on Fedora 12
Using a set of instruction given to me, I was able to set up a Macintosh system running Mac OS X to successfully connect to a virtual private network.
I then tried to adapt those same instruction to configure a system running Fedora Linux 12 on an Intel Core2 Duo system.
However when I try to connect using the NetworkManager Applet, I get an error that saying the VPN connection failed, with no clear indication of what the actual problem is.
What can I do to troubleshoot this problem and find out why the connection is failing?
