how to connect windows machines to linux cups?
 
hai.,in our network we configured linux(RHEL4) cups print server.,how to share the linux print services to windows machine?What i need to do?Help me....what is the full procedure to do?

Hi,

You need to be running SAMBA to share your printer with windows. Not to conversant with DeadRat, but it should give you somewhere the ability to start SAMBA as a service at boot time. Then share the printer as a SAMBA shared resource.

No you don't need Samba, plain CUPS will do. In Windows, you configure your printer as "http://<serverip>:631/printers/<cups printer name>", that should do. Have a look at this or google for "Windows IPP".
