how to connect quagga open source router with other systems


dear sir,
1.im doing project in quagga open source router in ospf protocol. i have installed quagga and its working wel but im not able to connect quagga with other systems., so please give me solution for how to code or command quagga ospf to connect other systems in network.
2.how to transfer data from one system to another using quagga.
ex. if i want to transfer 60mb file from system A to System B means how to perform the operation using quagga.
please give me a proper solution for this problems

I'm afraid we can't really help you with the questions you've asked as you've given no backup information about your system. All we can do is point you towards general documentation on how to implement quagga with OSPF - http://openmaniak.com/quagga_tutorial.php for example. They contain the correct instructions, so if yours isn't working then you're doing something wrong...

as for how to transfer data, this really makes no sense. a system has a routing table and wil connect to another system with the routes provided by that table. It is of no relevance here how that routing table is built, i.e. whether they are static routes, BGP, OSPF, RIP, etc...

dear sir,
im asking how to connect using ospf protocol., normally we identify using routing table but here im asking how to transfer the data to another system using quagga ospf.( routing table shows whch system connected with other system but hw to make data transfer in between that systems)

dear sir,
i have many problem to execute the quagga router
1.not able to assign the IP in router
i.e., >en
#conf t
#int lo
#ip address 192.168.3.12/40( here the problem the ip commend is not correct it vl showing )
$Unrecognized command or command not found
#


2. the show ip route command is not working
#show ip route
$incorrect command or command not found

3. how to check that router software is working properly in the system....




here im using linux5 server edition, and quagga-0-98.6 routing software.
