I want to use outlook IMAP to receive the e mail. I configured the dovecot.conf.i set default_mail_env = mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=/var/indexes/%d/%n
the imap_listen =192.168.250.200. because the server under company LAN. and i set the IMAP in outlook is 192.168.250.200. the e mail address is root@192.168.250.200.
i can use telnet 192.168.250.200 143 command to connect to my linux server. but i can not use outlook to receive mail , the error like
Task 'Checking for new mail in subscribed folders on 192.168.250.200.' reported error (0x8004DF00) : 'Outlook is unable to download folder (null) from the IMAP e-mail server for account 192.168.250.200. Error: Your root folder path is invalid. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
how to solve that problem? I
