What is your main office setup? If your running qmail at the main off check out Mini-Qmail. Mini-Qmail's purpose is to relay mail to a central server via QMQP. It will relay to any QMQP server, but the only QMQP server I have ever delt with myself is the qmail-qmqpd server from the main Qmail MTA package.

Another good place to look for qmail information is Life With Qmail or the Qmail reference site.

As far as sendmail goes... I find the O'Reilly Sendmail Book to be a good reference.

For specific configuration help your going to have to tell me what is running on the main server machine and what you hope to run on the satellite server machine specifically. Where the maile is comming from, how you want people to be able to access it, and where they are accessing it from. Do you really just need an SMTP server for the new office to send e-mail from that office outward?

There might be better methods like using Cyrus SASL or SMTP-AUTH and IMAP-SSL for accessing e-mail from the main office ot the satellite office.

http://qmailrocks.org + fetchmail will solve your problem

actually myself implemented.

Case study:

MAil comes to user@mainbranch.com
At remote location qmail server running and it will fetch mails from @mainbranch and forward to local user accounts of @remote location
