how to configure Linux mail client with existing mail server running on WindowsXP?

Hi,

I am running both WindowsXP and Linux FedoraCore2 as dual boot. We have a Mail server and i configured my outlook express as my default mail client in WindowsXP (Only within Lan). Now i need to have a mail client in Linux which has to be configured as a mail client in fc2. I tried with mozilla mail. But i am unsuccessful in configuring it with the my mail server which is running only on WindowsXP.

Say suppose, in My lan, if system number 10, is my mail server running on WindowsXP, i want to configure a mail client in fc2. Can anyone help me out to sort this problem.

Thanx in Advance.

There's absolutley NOTHING here to do do with operating systems, networking ignores these things.

Boot into XP, write down all your account settings in Outlook Express, the mail server, your username, password etc. Reboot and go into linux, open up your mail client (mozilla mail or whatever) and enter the same settings in. If everything else is configured properly you should be ready to roll.
