How to check TCP Offloading via tcpdump

Hi Experts,

Does anyone know how to check tcp offloading issues via tcpdump?

Please note that, I do know how to disable tcp offloading and I know how to use ethtool, I just want to know how to check it via tcpdump command

See http://wiki.wireshark.org/CaptureSetup/Offloading and search for odd delays between client data and server response you wouldn't have with offloading disabled?

I don't see it as a choice. I hope this isn't a trick question. I guess the answer would be to compile your own version of the tool that added in that feature.

It may be possible to assume it. I think on offloading there is always a bad checksum at the OS since the nic did it and doesn't report that.

I think both of us pointed out the issue of the failed checksums.
