how to boot a distro through pxe?

ok, i have a debian server, thats configured to use pxe (i tested it, and the pxe part of it works-computers can boot, get an ip, and load pxelinux). I only have a minor knowledge of pxelinux...i'd like to know how to boot a distro such as debian, or knoppix, or anything really, over the network. well...i don't really know what else to post, so if u guys need anything else, just ask

oh, apparently, knoppix can do it, using some sort of terminal server, but a knoppix computer has to be the server...i'd rather not reinstall my os just for this..

thx

not as the server...i need to be able to install stuff on it, so that'd be kinda hard to do with the live cd...it'll work on the computer i wanna use pxe on...but, that takes the fun out of it i could just use the knoppix live-cd on it easily, but why do that when you can go through hell trying to get pxe to work? plus, the laptop i want it on has a crappy cdrom drive anyway lol ...then i have to get a boot floppy for my old pcmcia card, but thats later

so...yea..
