how do you quit tcpdump?
 
if i open up a terminal and run tcpdump, how do i stop it? is there some keyboard command?

im reading through the man pages and cant find anyhting on it so far. perhaps i missed something, ill re-read it again once im done with my first pass through it. thanks

I use ctrl_c

it's not really a tcpdump thing but a general way to end something running in the forground.
