How do i connect Ciscos VPN client to Checkpoint VPN server
Hi
I am probably out on real deep water, but i give it a try. Background: I want connect my Mandrake 9.1 box at home to my office using VPN because i want to use one of the floating licences for a CAD software called ProEngineer that we have at work (I also have ProEngineer at home on my mandrake box). The licence manger used is called FlexLm. More info: At work we are using Windows, and a VPN software called SecureClient/Server from a vendor called Checkpoint. Problem: SecureClient doesnt exist for later Linux kernels, so that software i cant use. Someone said that i probably could use Ciscos VPN client instead but then i probably need to convert the configuration info used by SecureClient to Ciscos VPN client. I basicly need to convert "Users.C" (config used by SecureClient) to a .pcf file (config used by Cisco) Have anyone done that? Or know how? Or have a better solution for how i could obtain the ProEngineer licence? Regards Klas |
The pcf file consistes of: the link name (whatever you want to call it), the ip address, the login id and password. I have only used the Windows client but that can all be typed in by hand. What does the Linux client look like?
