HOTplug Speedtouch problem

Hi,

I have just installed latest Mandrake 9 on my system.

I also have alcatel speedtouch USB ADSL modem from BTOpenWorld. This is the light green one that connects directly to the USB port of the PC. On Win98 & W2K the hots-wapping works fine, however cannot get it to work on Mandrake 9 for some reason.

If the speedtouch USB ADSL is connected to Linux on boot up, the modem works fine everything is OK. I have belkin switch - so when I disconnect the the modem to another PC and then back to the Mandrake system - error log says it cannot find the module for this device - can anyone advise what I sould do to get the HOTplug to work..
