hostname & isp username


Does my computer's hostname have to be the same as my isp username(isp login name) in order to get mail with correct headers etc? I'm don't have a lan or anything just a dialup connection.

No. You should be able to configure your email software to use pop or imap to sync email from your isp without any problem.
