Host name lookup failure

Every time i want to send a mail using sendmail In sendmail's log the following error shows up:
stat:Deferred: Name Server: acceso-remoto.sadepan.com: host name lookup failure.

However, i'm able to ping acceso-remoto.sadepan.com

any ideas/sugestions?

I don't know how much this will help but you should probably check your DNS settings. Make sure you have everything pointed at the correct DNS address.

yes i know its necroposting but ah well.

I'm having this problem with sendmail 8.13.1, what do i need to do to get it through? I have port 25 forwarded to the server...
