Home Intranet Problem
I have a SUSE 10.0 system and a Windoze Vista laptop connected through a Linksys WRT54GS router. Both systems have internet access and both systems can ping each other. However I cannot get other connectivity to work, such as Samba and FTP.
The network configurations on each system are pretty much set to defaults except I've turned off the firewalls on Vista.
I suspect something wrong with the router configuration, but I don't really know what.
Can someone point me to some good FAQs or give me some ideas on where to go next.
The option to configure the firewall is under the Security & Users section. This article has some information that may help. As for samba, take a look here.
