Ho do I perform IP to Name resolution for Windows hosts on the network

Hi,

I have a Redhat Linux 9.0 box in a PC environment.

I can perform Name to IP address resolution using the command:

nmblookup <machine name>

I presume that nmblookup contacts a WINS server to get the IP address.

I would like to know how I can do the reverse and resolve a name from an IP address.

Thanks in advance for any help

Regards

Gary Mansell
