Wait, first you say you want to hide your IP while browsing the web, then talk about a web server.

So what are you trying to do exactly? Hide your IP while browsing, or trying to hide the IP of your web server?

Sorry

I have a linux server at home hosting a paticular website with 1 IP dynamic, but when I go to other web site looking information or just surfing around I would like to keep my IP private and avoid to leave or show the website IP to everybody

Is posible?

Hi,

I see 2 solutions :
1/ having 2 public IPs from your ISP and using one for the web server, the other for browsing

2/ using a proxy somewhere on the net

NO! ;-)

...except use an external proxy-server/service!

in normal case your IP will always be visible. advantage of using a http-proxy like squid & co is only for serving bandwidth and so on....if you dial in to inet your provider gives you one IP and thatīs the IP which is visible from outside. if you want a different IP you must use a proxyservice (with a different IP)!
