help with samba workgroup

I got 4 computers here at the house ...

1 win 98
2 win xp
1 redhat 8.0

i can see all computer and share files but they are in different work groups.

I have edited the /etc/samba/smb.conf file to show the correct work group but they are still showing different work groups on the xp machine.

Any help would be great

Which PC's are in a different workgroup. Is it more that just the RH PC?

To see the changes you need to restart samba:
service smb restart (might be samba on RH)

Or you could just kill the process and restart
killall smbd
killall nmbd

smbd -D
nmbd -D

For the windows 98 PC its under the network icon in the control panel. Not familar with XP enough to tell you where to change its workgroup name.
