Help to Make network topology it simple but i cant get it.


hi,
i am trying to configure a network like below.
1. three machince are there A,B,C.
2. a is reachable to b .
3. b is reachable to c.
3. but a should not reachable to c.
how can i do this n/w.

i think i should block the ping response and ssh service .
but on doing ssh to that machine it say access denied( i need it should to be displayed.)

You could use ip's in their /etc/hosts.deny file. You can't block ssh access and still expect it to work.

We'll need a bit more information from you.

Does B have one or two network cards?
Are a/b/c on the same subnet?

What do you mean by

Are you trying to isolate 'a' and from what?

hello and thanks
i had did what i need
i drop all the packet for a host A comming from C(192.168.0.1).
so A is not Reachable to B.
is I m right.
1.Now can i change ip of C and Access A?
2.can i access A by login first into B using ssh from c.
