Question HELP: SAMBA + PDQ Printing

I'm looking to setup pdq to enable printing to a Samba server from Win9x clients. The pdq documentation provides an example of how to do so, but routes all jobs through the GhostScript filter for translation from postscript to the printer's native language. While this would work, I would prefer to send the job in native format (aka "raw" ) and have pdq hand it off to the printer w/o any translation. This would allow the Win9x clients to use the associated printer utilities to specify resolution, paper type, etc.

Does anyone have any examples of sending raw jobs to a Samba server using pdq? A snippet from /etc/samba/smb.conf would be great. I want to stay away from the (LPRng) lpd daemon if at all possible.

FYI: System = RH7.2; Printer = Epson Stylus Color 740

Thanks for the assist!
