Help Router/AP + Fedora
I have a current LAN setup with internet using a 4 port router with built in modem. This works fine and the LAN machines have no problems.
I recently acquired a belkin 802.11g wireless router. As it is pointless for me to use the wireless router as a router (coz i already have one) i set it up as an access point which is connected to the wired router via a straight through cable.
I have also just newly instlalled fedora core3, i can ping it on the lan when it is connected to either the wired or wireless router.
But i cant get internet, i cannot ping google.com. I will give LAN details but i think its a config problem on the fedora box.
Wired Router =192.168.10.1 - Default Gateway 192.168.0.0-50 DHCP Range
Wireless Router/AP = 192.168.10.254 - Default Gateway
Linux Box IP = 192.168.10.20
The message i get is that the operation has Timed out.
I have set the DNS to the Default Gateway of the wired machine(Primary = 192.168.10.1 and Secondary = Actual ISP DNS IP)
Any help is greatly appreciated
I think i covered everything
