help needed urgently for a project

i am making a software which downloads a file from a server by downloading some part of it using login of one person for the proxy server, then other part of the file using another person's login. if i download a file using a single person's proxy login, i make a single request to the server. Now if i want to download it using two or more login, my program will have to make multiple requests to the server for each part of the file........................but any time the proxy login changes, it starts downloading the file from start. So how do I make it download one part of the file first using one login and then downloading only the second part using other login, without starting the download from start????????????

i need to implement this please co-operate....

Please don't mark questions as urgent. This is a community driven site and people will help out as soon as they can.

What protocol are you using to download with? With http/1.1 you can specify a start point.
