help Home network : dmz + lan


hi

my needs for my network are :

file server (ubuntu) that i can access only from local network

webserver (ubuntu) that i can access only from local network

do they need to be in a dmz1 and dmz2? ip : 192.168.100.1....


the local network will have internet access ip : 192.168.0.1/24


the pc firewall will be ubuntu with the adsl ppoe ip static

so i need help to be sure if i need 2 dmz with one switch. the second switch will be for the local network.

i can do an image/drawning with my needs

Hi nadvig,

Maybe I'm missing something but if both your servers are supposed to be only available from your local network, than you should put them on the local network and not to any DMZ. So, you can get away with one switch and one IP range.
