Having some problems mapping windows drives for my rh9 comp

I've read up on rh9 joining an NT 4 domain.

here's what i did so far.

I created a comp name on my nt4 PDC that matches the netbios name of my rh9 comp.

I've edited the smb.conf file.

set following entries:

workgroup = NT_DOMAIN
password server = NT_PDC
security = domain

those are the only entries i've played with.

I ran this command and the follow output was given to me:

[root@penguin root]# smbpasswd -j acro -r acro_fsvr
2004/02/10 08:58:44 : change_trust_account_password: Changed password for domain
ACRO.

does that mean I've successfully joined the domain?

how do I map resources?

I've added a lot of entries into the /etc/host

file so i can ping all the servers i have here. I have verified I CAN ping all those servers.

also how do I check what version of samba I am running?

Thanks,
