Halp Mandrake MNF question

I am heaving a lot of trouble with forwarding a port in mandrake mnf. I have ip masquerading working and dhcp. I can get to the internet and serf the web. But when
I try to forward my exchanges servers traffic to my exchange server I get an error and I loose all access to my firewall. I can’t even log into it any more. All I do is set a simple rule to forward smpt traffic from the wan to the LAN and to port 192.168.16.2. When I hit apply I can no longer access the firewall. I loose my internet connection. I have to reinstall the firewall to get it to work. What am I doing wrong? Halllpppp meeee
