Guidance on "mrouted"

Hello,

I need to patch mrouted-3.9 to kernel. I'm using FC8. I did search the net for some documents that can guide beginners on this and found:

http://www.jukie.net/~bart/multicast...MiniHOWTO.html

And also quite a few. But failed to get it working. There are quite a few related threads, unfortunately no replies!!!

I'll be thankful, if any one can guide me on installing mrouted and building the kernel. Kindly guide me to some useful links or documents if any, that can guide beginners step by step.

Thank you all.
