Guarddog and Bittorrent

I am using Vector 5.8std Linux. I have recently been disenchanted with the level of control that VL's firewall GUI gives over the firewall so wanted to try out something else. I installed Guarddog and am very impressed, ease of use with a level of control that suits my level of ability.

The only problem I have found is that with Guarddog running I can't access a bittorrent tracker. I have the Bittorrent peer and Bittorrent tracker protocols checked in the Internet zone. I know the tracker is working because when the firewall is down I can access it. I know I am using a port in Guarddog's range as I have checked the ports I use against the Port Reference tab.

Anyone with any ideas what else I can try to get Bittorrent to work through Guarddog?

Can you enable UPnP in Guarddog? I'm not very big into Bittorrent, but think I've read need to enable UPnP.

Try going to Advanced and adding a protocol for the bittorrent app you are using.

I use ktorrent and had to add port 6881 udp in order to get it working. Then go to Protocol user defined and make sure it is set to Allowed.
