google services are not responding after some time

Hi All
I'm using opnesuse 11.3 and I'm having a continuous problem with google. I've tried the opensuse forums but couldn't solve it.
The problem is that after some hours when my laptop is connected via wireless to my home router , suddenly all google services are not responding anymore, google search, gmail, evolution won't load new emails, is short, no google at all.
this is happening for months already and only when I'm home.
a restart to the machine solves it.
I have no idea how to even start debuging it and I will appreciate any help. of course I can only try your suggestions when this happens again. actually it happens almost every day, I'm back from work and connect to my router, work for some time and go to sleep, in the morning when I wake up there is no google and I have to restart the machine in order to read my emails.

Thanks you for any help.

What are you DNS setting like on the system?? If you are using the default DHCP settings supplied by your home router I would start by using an external DNS server directly. You could even use the Google DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and see what happens.
